The Backstory

My Name is Brandon Sharp

As an Executive Chef, I earned seven consecutive Michelin stars at Solbar in Napa Valley, CA. Before that, I paid my dues at The French Laundry (NAPA), Gary Danko (SF), Restaurant August (NOLA), and Ristorante Arzak (SPAIN) (and dozens of other spots you haven't heard of.)

I'm now the Chef Proprietor of Hawthorne & Wood, Bluebird, and Proximo, all in Chapel Hill, NC. Every restaurant I have opened as a partner--beginning in 2015--is still open to this day.
